I've searched and cannot find the solution. I have a player that is level 7 (6 sorcerer/ 1 cleric). On her known spells under sorcerer she has level 2-3 spells that are for clerics (like speak to dead and spiritual weapon). She can not know these spells, correct? She is only level 1 in cleric. I understand she can know level 3 sorcerer spells, but I thought she could only know and prepare up to level 1 cleric spells since she is level 1 cleric. Is this a glitch in DnD Beyond or can she actually know and prepare those spells? Thanks so much for the input

First off, this should be in the Bugs & Support forum, not rules.
Second, are you playing a Divine Soul Sorcerer? I'm guessing you are, so that is not a bug. That subclass gets access to the entire Cleric Spell list, and that's where you're getting access to the higher level Cleric spells from.

You don't know what fear is until you've witnessed a drunk bird divebombing you while carrying a screaming Kobold throwing fire anywhere and everywhere.
Thanks for you reply even though I am reading it as you being quite snarky. I am not the player. I am the DM. I will have to see if she is playing Divine Soul. If that is the case, then all is well. Have a nice day.

Also, just to clarify, sorcerers don't prepare spells, they are stuck with the ones they choose at level up (barring house rules or optional rules from TCoE).
If you are the DM you should be able to check the character yourself if it is in your campaign.

No snark intended; it's just a common question I encounter.
