You convert raw materials into products of the same material. For example, you can fabricate a wooden bridge from a clump of trees, a rope from a patch of hemp, or clothes from flax or wool. Choose raw materials that you can see within range. You can fabricate a Large or smaller object (contained within a 10-foot Cube or eight connected 5-foot Cubes) given a sufficient quantity of material. If you're working with metal, stone, or another mineral substance, however, the fabricated object can be no larger than Medium (contained within a 5-foot Cube). The quality of any fabricated objects is based on the quality of the raw materials. Creatures and magic items can't be created by this spell. You also can't use it to create items that require a high degree of skill-such as weapons and armor-unless you have proficiency with the type of Artisan's Tools used to craft such objects.
My question, (assume proficiency in tools for the task)
If you have a pile of materials needed to craft lets say steel full plate mail could you also in that casting make a steel sword? Basically if you have enough materials make armor and a sword to go with it? given you have all the raw materials at the casting?
I'd say it's possible and I'd allow it, based on the wording:

Even the bridge is more than one object:
Object
An object is a nonliving, distinct thing. Composite things, like buildings, comprise more than one object. See also “Breaking Objects.”
To me, the Large or Medium restrictions are meant to limit the size of those objects.
I don't see any reason why this would not work. Presumably, you could convert a 10' cube of steel into a pile of swords, so why not a few swords and a full suit of armor? As long as you have enough raw material, you should be able to make any number of objects you so choose (perhaps turn that 10x10x10 block of steel into a billion ball bearings).
Just imagine you have an armor stand and a bunch of steel, you could craft a full display on to the armor stand which is a full plate armor with sword, spear (fully metal) and shield. As such, I would see no reason why this wouldn't work.

Omg that would be funny as F. Adventures tracking some mage in the mines, when they round the corner the next 150ft is nothing but ball bearings.
