I found resistance in the glossary, but it is all about damage. Poison is about what happens when you have it. Saving throws do not discuss resistance.
If a dwarf drinks poison or a poison arrow does damage, how do you see if you are actually poisoned or not?

You're misreading the dwarf traits. They have resistance to poison damage and advantage on saving throws to resist the poisoned condition.
Dwarven Resilience. You have Resistance to Poison damage. You also have Advantage on saving throws you make to avoid or end the Poisoned condition.

It's interesting how specific the wording is. I thought dwarves had Advantage on any Saving Throw that involves poison, but if it is a saving throw against straight damage (e.g., 23 points of poison damage or 11 points on a successful save) then they do not get Advantage (of course they still get their Resistance against that straight damage).
