Hello! So, its pretty well understood how feline agility can interact with grounded movement, ranging anything from dashes (rogue, monk) or longstrider and haste, and even the 3rd level fly spell.
However I found myself stumpt when it comes to flying magic items. For example, the broom of flying! It seems like the broom of flying is actually a mount that has 50 speed, so I get the impression that feline agility probably wont work on the flying broom. Which also means other mount-esque flying items like the module-specific: flying chariot, ornithopter of flying, etc, as well as the flying carpet.
So feline agility should only work on the tabaxi themselves and interact with any amount and type of speed that the tabaxi happened to have, and shouldnt affect the 'flying mount'-esque flying items in this the case, right?
You are correct, riding a Pagasus wouldn't allow tabaxi features for movement either. But any item, like Winged Boots, that change your speed would still allow Feline Agility.
Mote it's pretty hard to keep your weight plus inventory under 200 lbs to allow the 50 ft movement speed of the new BoF unless you play a small species.
