Just a quick question. This is the first time I'm playing a Cleric also using the Cleric of Eilistraee Homebrew from the site. I like how the exported sheet shows you all the spells and identifies which ones you have prepared. When I view or export my character sheet I see two things I don't understand. On the exported sheet all the cantrips do not show up. It shows 6 instead to 10 if you looking online in the manage spell page. On to the game mechanics question. In my spell list of 1st through 3rd (was testing a 5th level character just to see how it looks) I have spells that are always prepared that are not on my domain list. This includes some level 2 spells, but the domain spells are at 1 and 3. What am I missing here? I don't see anything about Clerics in general in the PHB having always prepared spells just under the domain. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I apologize if this should have been in another category. There was a similar post in this one from last year, so I stayed in this section.
How did you learn 10 cantrips? Just in case... Cantrips are not like leveled spells, you do not prepare them. You know your cantrips, and cannot swap them. At level 5 a Cleric should know 4 - unless you gain some from your race, or feats.
For your second question, my best guess without seeing your character is that the homebrew you're using is flawed. I added it to my own collection and made a character with it, and this looks like the right guess. The homebrew subclass is granting me Command, Heroism, Enhance Ability, Hold Person, Mass Healing Word, and Slow as my domain spells, even though listed in the subclass page they should be Disguise Self, Feather Fall, Calm Emotions, Enthrall, Mass Healing Word, and Tongues. The only way to fix this would be to get in contact with the person who made the homebrew and ask them to fix it, or to make your own version with corrected information.
I don't think it gave all those cantrips as only 1 had a P for prepared beside it. When you export and print the online sheet It list all your avalible spells, I assume this is because you can change your spells after a long rest? It also listed like 6 cantrips but the Eilistraee Moonfire was my domain cantrip. When you go online though and go into the manage spells page, there are like 10 to choose from. I believe I have figured it out now in talking it through here ( since you don't change your cantrips that's why the others didn't print on the exported sheet). The Moonfire is part of the homebrew and the Dancing Lights if I remember right is a Drow racial cantrip, and I took spell sniper as a feat that gave me cantrip so the manage spell told me to pick 3 more ( I created a 5th level character just to see how it would look. That's were the feat came in). That would make 6. As far as the spells it gave me both sets of listed above as always prepared. So I guess it safe to assume ( hate that word lol) that somewhere in the creation some default domain spells where not unchecked. Thanks for the help. Just answering your reply allowed me to figure it out.
