Do you think it's worth keeping the Cure Wounds spell if your character, as a Circle of Dreams druid, has the Balm of the Summer Court feat? Cure Wounds is more likely to restore more HP, but it requires touch, whereas the BotSC has a range of 120 feet. Opinions?
I know you can prepare different spells after a long rest, but adventurers never know when they'll get the chance for one.
This topic is probably better for Tips and Tactics or under -Class Forums for Druid. This is discussion board is for rules and game mechanics, things that seem to have more than one answer for a given mechanic and not things that have more than one mechanic for a given outcome. Good luck
This also fits in with the Celestial Pact Warlock, although they’re not able to replace Cure Wounds with another spell.
I pleyed a Celestial Pact Warlock for several months and I was the party’s primary healer. 1d6 HP of healing per character level per long rest usually isn’t enough. It’s great for keeping your other party members on their feet when they’re knocked down, but not much more. It was a larger group, and many times I used my 2 spell slots on Cure Woulds in addition to using my innate healing ability and still wished that I had more healing.
