So, I just got the wild magic surge of 00-01 and among some of the affects I tuned a vibrant shade of blue, then turned into a sheep. I was hoping that there was a chance that the phrase "normal form" meant that I wasn't blue for obvious reasons. If not, that sucks, but still want to know.
So your question isn't so much about polymorph so much as it is the Wild Magic result that turns you blue, right?
By the rules, yes, you're blue. This can only be removed by a Remove Curse spell, which only requires the cleric to be lv5. So this can easily be remedied.
If your party is below that, you may want to go to a temple to buy the casting from a priest, or to a magic shop to buy a scroll. Or getting indebted to someone to cast it on you, in return for a favor "one day" (which also gives your DM a hook for a future adventure).
Finally, there's always the option of telling your DM "yeah, that's not fun to me, can we do something about it ?", and he can just declare the effect temporary, or straight up cancel it. This is s game after all, and is supposed to be fun.
[EDIT] you may also just roll along with it. You don't like it, odds are your character probably doesn't either. Play with that, maybe ?
