I was wondering how a rogue's sneak attack is evaluated using a non-magic weapon against an enemy with resistance or immunity to non-magic attacks.
If an enemy with non-magic weapon resistance is hit with a non-magic weapon, it takes half the weapon damage but the full sneak attack damage roll is applied.
If an enemy with non-magic weapon immunity is hit with a non-magic weapon, it takes no damage from the weapon roll and no damage from the sneak attack.
Is this the way sneak attack is applied in the above situations?
Unless noted otherwise, any untyped extra damage is of the same type as the attack's damage and therefore is subject to resistance/immunity accordingly.
Typed extra damage, such as Divine Favor, on the other hand could bypass resistance for exemple.

Sneak attack damage is halved if the target has a resistance to it.
Unless noted otherwise, any untyped extra damage is of the same type as the attack's damage and therefore is subject to resistance/immunity accordingly.
