So the Creation Bard can make a summoned construct, many of its features such as HP and to-hit bonus are modified based on the Bard's proficiency bonus, level, or Charisma score. Most of it is straight forward but one part of the stat block has me confused. It just says, "Challenge - Proficiency Bonus (PB) equals your bonus."
I could interpret that two ways. Either it's Challenge Rating equals my Proficiency Bonus (at level 6 that's a +3), meaning it's a CR 3 and has a corresponding +2 PB; or, it's Proficiency Bonus is the same as mine, a +3.
I'm leaning toward the second option, since it's easier for a player to calculate without having to figure out what CR equals what PB, and it's more straight forward. But it does give a better bonus for the player, so I don't want to pick it just because it's better for me.
So yeah, any help on interpreting how this was intended to work would be appreciated.

Comparing the statblock to other sources, it looks like it should have been
"Challenge —
Proficiency Bonus (PB) equals your bonus."
So the DNDBeyond statblock is probably just a typo.
It's challenge is not set. It's proficiency bonus is the same as yours.
