The combination of Blur and Mirror Image doesn’t synergize so well. The same for high AC and Mirror Image, like Wizards who have dipped Cleric. Mainly because most attacks that would miss you anyways will actually hit your images. In the end of the day is an extra layer of defense, but I think the cost is too much — 2 actions to setup and your Concentration.
As a general rule of thumb:
- Low/medium AC (Regular Wizards, Sorcerers and Arcane Tricksters): go all-in and enjoy Mirror Image
- High AC (Bladesingers, Cleric 1/Wizard X, Shadow Sorcerers with high DEX and Eldritch Knight): will benefit more from Blur — if the opportunity appears, don’t forget about Protection from Evil & Good, which is actually better

If I have Blur up and then also cast mirror image, do my images also benefit from being blurred?
No. Blur Only imposes disadvantage on attacks against you, mirror image redirects the attack to an illusion (with its own AC).
