So I've read on a few different sources from different parts of the community and I'm confused I would like to know sea elves are able to just breathe air normally like every other race or if like from a few sources I've read it states that they can only breathe air for short periods of time I'd like some clarification to help my DM be able to properly apply the rules

Sea elf and seals can breathe air but seals are limited in the ammount of time they can hold their breath when going underwater.

Child of the Sea. You can breathe air and water, and you have resistance to cold damage.

Hold Breath. The seal can hold its breath for 15 minutes.
