Hello to everyone who reads my doubt, I'm from Brazil and I have a question regarding these 2 cantrips. They can be cast to infuse magic into a club or quarterstaff in Shillelagh’s case and up to 3 stones in the Magic Stone’s case. This is performed during your bonus action. In case I attack with the club/quarterstaff/stones I need to roll the attack as my action, correct? This attack is not part of an extension of casting the spell in bonus action, correct? I'm saying this because I was told that it would be in my bonus action and in my turn I could: Imbue a quarterstaff, attack with it and cast another spell causing more damage for example. I think this is incorrect, but could someone tell me if I'm wrong please?
