So just a question, if someone were to cast Mage Armor on a monk with Unarmored Movement, does that cancel out the extra movement speed they would normally get from Unarmored Movement or not?
Ok that was my original thought as well, but a couples days or weeks ago; was reading a thread with people arguing something about different ways to calculate AC, and what has with different effects with different features and such, I just had to ask.
Secondly a little off topic, but how you get the spell info card to pop up like you have it. I used to know, but I forgot.
You only ever benefit from one armor calculation at a time, so for example you get EITHER Mage Armor or Unarmored Defense, but not both. But Unarmored Movement isn’t an AC calculation, and it just requires that you not be wearing armor, so Mage Armor is fine with it.
You can add tooltips with tags in square brackets. spell in brackets before the name and /spell in brackets after the name.
Saga & Wolf have it. The only thing that causes Unarmored Movement to not apply is to be wearing something from the actual armor & shield tables (including magic gear & variants). Things like having Natural Armor, Mage Armor, Barkskin, Draconic Resilience (Sorcerer), or other Unarmored Defense features do not count as wearing armor. Here's a link to the Sage Advice Compendium entry describing these interactions in more detail.

No. Being under the effect of Mage Armor does not count as wearing armor (indeed, the spell ends if you put on armor).

To elaborate on what SagaTympana said, generally “wearing armor” means donning one of the things listed in the tables of armor types.
