I've recently been given Wave, a sentient magical weapon with a Cube of Force attached to him. I was just curious, as a spellcaster, about what can pass through the fourth option, worded as "Spell Effects can't pass through the barrier.". Is anything that is created as a result of a spell being cast a Spell Effect? What about an Eldritch Blast?

A spell effect is any effect caused by a spell. Eldritch Blast absolutely counts.
We played it that way. So far, the only thing our DM has let through Wave's cube of force was teleportation effects.
We liked it so much that when we had to give Wave away to the king of the sea elves, among the rewards we received was a real cube of force.
I play a wizard that likes to misty step in and out of the cube.
