anyone else think that the Brain in a Jar from VRGTR weight seems excessive? "While disembodied, a brain in a jar weighs roughly 125 pounds." How will Igor carry Abby Normals Brain back to the doctor?a quick online search says a brain weighs about 3 pounds and a gallon of water 8.34 pounds Maybe they were going for 12.5 pounds?
The "Disembodied Brain" refers to the brain, the fluid, and the vessel. This includes enough glass and metal to bump up a "tiny" brain" into a "small" creature. A cubic foot of iron would weigh 491lbs, so it would actually take relatively little to make up the difference.
If you want to transport a brain for your own purposes, I'd recommend something lighter and more flexible, like a Tupperware container.
You are looking at a brain-in-a-jar as a brain in a jar.
I believe they were thinking of a brain-in-a-jar as a brain, in a jar, conneted to a large machine that keeps the brain alive. Which is silly, as it is officially undead.

That does seem to be the case, otherwise you may as well be carrying around a wild boar or adult human
