I'm looking to take this spell on with my Bard. In reference to the spells ability to store a spell in the inscribed glyph, its not clear on wether or not your character has to have the spell in its immediate spells list.
Can my Bard store any spell available in his class spell list and at his level available to him, or does it have to be a spell he's learned so far? For instance, even though I haven't taken on Fear, but it's available to me at that level and in the Bard spell list, would I be able to inscribe it in the Glyph? I assume no, but there's no reference to that I can find, which makes me think if I can learn it, I can inscribe a glyph of it.
Also, this is a basic spell casting question that as a new player has also confused me. This spell says it requires 200gp with of diamond dust/incense. However it also has a V and S components required to cast. Are components to spell cast an either/or scenario, for example, does this Glyph spell require either the 200gp worth of diamond dust -OR- the ability to use my hands, Bard instrument arcane focus or my mouth to cast the V and S aspect, or does it need the physical Materials as well? In essence, does a spell simply require at least one of the components, or all of them?
Glyph of Warding says you can store a spell in it by casting it, so it has to be a spell you can cast. I think maybe that means you can cast it from a scroll or a magic item, but I'm not sure.

Canto alla vita alla sua bellezza ad ogni sua ferita ogni sua carezza!
I sing to life and to its tragic beauty To pain and to strife, but all that dances through me The rise and the fall, I've lived through it all!
So even if you have your arcane focus item equipped, you never disregard Material components with the items it needs spelled out in parenthesis?
It does seem though, unless I’m wrong in my interpretation, that you can reuse those components unless the spell states you have to consume those material items each spell cast. So that’s helpful.

Spellcasting foci can substitute for material components that do not have a listed value AND are not consumed. If the component has a listed value, you need that component specifically. If it says it’s consumed, you need that component specifically.
So yes, you’ll actually need 200gp of diamond dust, since that has a listed value.

Thanks for the help!
You have to be able to cast the spell at that time to cast it into Glyph of Warding.

To answer your last question, all listed components (VSM) are needed to cast a spell.

Much more clear now on everything. Thanks folks.
