So in the UA rune knight giant might makes you large, sooo how much does it increase your size? Say you are 8ft tall then how tall would you be with giant might making you large from medium?
As tall as you want within the bounds of “large.” The only thing prescribed by the rules is the size category. Where you fall specifically inside that category is entirely up to you. Large is probably what, 10-15 feet?
I've considered this as well, and think it would follow similar rulings as the Enlarge part of Enlarge/Reduce spell, specifically:
Enlarge. The target's size doubles in all dimensions, and its weight is multiplied by eight. This growth increases its size by one category-- from Medium to Large, for example. If there isn't enough room for the target to double its size, the creature or object attains the maximum possible size in the space available.
Which makes it quite interesting having a small creature such as Gnome, Goblin, or Halfling; small to large dimensions x4, weight x64.
