For the tether mechanic, when you cast a spell from your tethered creature's area, is the spell range based on where you are or your tethered creature.
I'd say you cast it from the tethered creature as if it were you who was standing there, so you'd not be targeting it from that creature, but you still have your normal ranger from there.
Or at least, that's what I thought when I read the Collector’s Vessel feature.
