So, I have been thinking on ways of how to exploit my character into new ways.
And here's my train of thought:
Crimson Rite
As a bonus action, imbue a weapon with extra damage of your chosen type based on your level. You take damage equal to and your max HP are reduced by -8 until the rite fades. Rite damage is magical and lasts until you drop (or throw) the weapon or complete a rest.
Mystic Frenzy
When you use your action to cast a cantrip, you can make one weapon attack as a bonus action.
Could Crimson Rite be considered a "Cantrip".
If so, I could imbue a hand axe with my Crimson Rite, sacrifice my 8HP. Throw it to an enemy as an action. And as my bonus action given by mystic frenzy cast Crimson Rite again and throw another hand axe. And make another combo by using the Lvl 5 Feat: Extra Attack.
Would this be ok, or am I getting lost somewhere in the way?
No, the Crimson Right is a class feature ability. A Cantrip is a spell of 'level zero'. You learn two Warlock cantrips when you choose Order of the Profane Soul (and later a third). Many of these cantrips will combine well with the ability to make a weapon attack after the spell: Booming Blade, Green-Flame Blade, Lightning Lure. Read through the list of Warlock cantrips and choose your attack cantrips to best match your weapon style.
