I have a Rogue/Monk I’m putting together but I’m facing some technical issues in the mechanics.
A Soulknife Rogue’s psi blades have all the characteristics of a typical dagger (light, finesse, simple, throw) but for some reason, the damage does not match my martial arts damage for my monk. Why would this be?
There’s a few other inconsistencies with the monk as well, especially pertaining to Martial Arts.
Is Martial Arts a weapon? Is it a finesse weapon, since it uses dex based attacks and damage? If it is a weapon, can Feats and abilities like Sneak Attack that rely specifically on using a weapon attack be applied to Martial Arts? If it isn’t a weapon, then Monk abilities such as stunning strike don’t work without one.
They are not a monk weapon as they are not a short sword or a simple melee weapon so they will not increase with martial arts die. I would ask your DM if you could use the Tasha's Dedicated Weapon Feature on them and make them a monk weapon for you.
Martial Arts die is simply the progression for the die that replaces the damage for the weapons normal damage. It allows a monk to keep pace with the others in damage as they progress.
You can have a weapon that works with Martial Arts but does not work with Sneak Attack. An example is Spear. It is a simple melee weapon that lacks the two-handed or heavy property but is not a ranged weapon or have the finesse property. Therefore it will work with your Martial Arts die but not Sneak attack.
You will be better off using a weapon with finesse that is also a monk weapon like a dagger or short sword. You could also use a Rapier if your DM is allowing Tasha's Material as you gain proficiency in it with rogue and can use the Dedicated Weapon option to make it a monk weapon for you.
Martial Arts is not a weapon, it is a ability that buffs weapons. While it allows you to make weapon attacks using DEX, it does not give those weapons the finesse property and thus does not work with Sneak Attack. However, you can use Martial Arts to buff a weapon that is already finesse which would allow you to use sneak attack.
Again, Martial Arts is not a weapon, it's a ability that buffs weapons "You gain the following benefits while you are unarmed or wielding only monk weapons and you aren’t wearing armor or wielding a shield:" It is not actually a weapon, just a list of benefits you get when using certain weapons.

if I edit a message, most of the time it's because of grammar. The rest of the time I'll put "Edit:" at the bottom.
The Psi Blades have the Simple Melee Weapon in their description, which should be enough for a Monk to be proficient, and for them to be subject to the Martial Arts Damage.

This is a technical issue. The character sheet has the attack generated by the subclass not a weapon, so weapon modifiers can't be applied to it.

Then as DxJxC suggested this is likely a technical issue.
Yeah, the psychic blades should count as monk weapons, with the caveat that of course you can't extra attack with the psychic blades more than once, and the psychic blades provide their own bonus action attack that will overlap with the martial arts-generated bonus action unarmed strike.
I don't think I've ever seen a successful monk/rogue build - the fact that martial arts functionally adds finesse but doesn't actually always ends up crippling the idea behind the thing. That said, I can see how you could combine a mercy monk usefully with a rogue, since you can use the excess non-sneak attack punches to heal. I'm curious what kind of monk you're mixing with soulknife - mercy monks don't like using monk weapons.

I would submit on the feedback page!
