If you take a reaction on your turn, what turn does it come from? Do you spend a unspent reaction from the previous round when you take a reaction, or do you loose the ability to take reactions for the next round in combat?
As per PHB the reaction action refreshes at the start of your turn. So, if you take a reaction during your turn, that was the reaction you get until it is your next go.

Also keep in mind it’s a reaction to an actual event...you can’t just say ‘I’m going to use my reaction because I know something is about to happen’
