Hey! I was reading the description for a mind flayer's Mind Blast ability and noticed that it affects all creatures in the cone...does that include other mind flayers (RAW)? Or is there a mechanic I'm missing?
It affects other mind flayers since they don't have any listed immunities to the effect. However, with their formidable intellect and Magic Resistance, the chance that they'd actually be harmed by friendly fire is relatively low.

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
Yeah, they have advantage and +7 to the save. (Does math) So they have an 84% chance of succeeding. And I'm sure they will try to avoid friendly fire when it is not advantageous (they are smart).
