You can squeeze through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide, provided you are wearing and carrying nothing.
Would a plasmoid character be able to force their way down an enemy's throat as a form of an attack? Like a reverse swallow attack? Having 40+ lbs of slime forced through your digestive system has to cause some problems (even if its just psychic damage lol). I know this is more of a DM's question, but I was curious as to other people's thoughts.
If it is more than 1 inch wide. Probably costs an attack or even a full action. How effective it is is something I am probably not qualified to answer and may depend on your opponent.
But you are aiming for the wrong system. It will be 10 times worse if you target the respiratory system, also accessible from the mouth. But probably with a str contest to force the plasmoid away. And an option bite because its arm is between your teeth already.
My suggestion? Keep your mouth shut against a plasmoid. Not many other openings are more than an inch wide at their thinnest. If you’re a wizard, then goodbye. It was nice knowing you.
The Trachea is smaller than 1", so there's no way a Plasmoid is going into the lungs.
Also, the Plasmoid is roughly human sized, so the entire Plasmoid wouldn't fit inside the digestive tract, meaning at minimum the exterior parts of the body could still be attacked.
So a human esophagus is, on average, about 1 in wide and the digestive system is about 30 ft long. Plasmoids can be either medium or small creatures. I definitely think it would cost an action and your movement. I also think the same rules as features like the Phantom Rogues Ghost Walk:
You can also move through creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain, but you take 1d10 force damage if you end your turn inside a creature or an object.
More of a small pc using this attack against a large creature lol... Maybe I should've put a content warning, I apologize. (This question was intended for a very dark/body horror game.)

No.
Please don't ever suggest forcing yourself down a character's throat again.
