It seems that Alchemical Savant does not enhance healing from Cure Wounds or Healing Word spells at all!
Reading that feature it follows that I must cast the spell using the alchemist's supplies as a spellcasting focus. However, neither of those spells requires a material component, so I can't enhance it.
Artificer spells always require a material component. It’s in the class description and overrides the normal component structure of the spell...they have to use their tools to cast anything
