Casting Bonus Action VSM spell followed by two-handed weapon Action... allowed?

Does the fact that the longbow requires two hands apply for the entire turn or just the Action within the turn economy?

You just need two hands on it when it is used. You can free a hand whenever to use for something else for free.

Just make sure your hand is not holding a focus or something needed for the spell when you go back to the bow.
