For backstory reasons on a character, I am looking for a spell or method of one character taking the body (physical stats, age, etc.) of another character. Permanent methods are preferred, RAW as well. The idea is that some magic caster is trying to escape death by old age but doesn't want to become a lich, snagging the body of a family member every for generations instead. Ideas please?

As Quar1on said, Clone is the traditional way for wizards to stay young. Magic Jar can work, but it is considered evil.
