Im currently in the process of building a warlock (lvl6), first time playing one and Im a bit unsure if/where certain things would fit in. I have the eldritch evocation thirsting blade which allows me to take two attacks with my pact boon weapon, plus the eldritch smite evocation which lets me add smite to an attack made with my pact weapon- by the way its worded it looks like I can dump a smite on only one of the attacks but using a spell slot, would that be correct? I'm curious as to how green flame blade fits into it all. Would green flame blade be added to both hits, one of them or none of them because of a detail I'm perhaps missing in one of the evocations? there's also the question of if I were to bonus action hex before doing the attacks, would I get the extra 1d6 hex damage on both the attacks or just one?
a lot of questions, I apologise, but it just seems like a lot of damage to be doing in one round so I assumed I am going wrong somewhere.
Eldritch Smite: yes, can only be used once per turn so only for a single attack. However you only use it once you hit with an attack, so if the first misses you can use the smite with the second.
Green Flame Blade is a spell, so when you use it in combat you are using the Cast A Spell action. Thirsting Blade requires that you use the Attack action in order to get your second attack. In that way, those two things do not stack or combine well at all. Eldritch Smite can still be used with the attack you make as part of the Green Flame Blade spell.
Hex applies an extra 1d6 damage every time you hit the hexed target with an attack, so would add for both Thirsting blade attacks.
Agreed. If you cast Green Flame Blade, you can only make one attack; since you used your action to cast the spell, and the attack is a part of the spell. All other features activated by the attack action are unavailable.

[Tooltip Not Found] GFB is instead of attacking with thirsting blade. 1 attack, you can smite with it and hex gets added only to first target.
Hex damage does apply to both attacks with thirsting blade (and both attacks with eldritch blast btw).
Agreed. If you cast Green Flame Blade, you can only make one attack; since you used your action to cast the spell, and the attack is a part of the spell. All other features activated by the attack action are unavailable.
