Arms of hadar, Cause fear, False life, Inflict wounds, Ray of sickness, Blindness/Deafness, Darkness, Ray of Enfeeblement, Bestow Curse, Hunger of Hadar, Summon shadow spirt (UA), Vampiric touch, Black tenicales, Blight, Shadow of Moil, Contigation, Enervation, Negative energy flood.
This looks like a pretty well thought out selection. I might take out Vampiric Touch, though. Not because it isn't in line with the flavor (it is), but because I don't see a squishy Sorcerer getting much use from a touch attack.
I'm really hoping WotC decides to revise some things and give origin spells for the older sorcerer subclasses. The official Sorcerer spell list is sorely lacking in useful, thematic spells for most of its bloodlines, and the design of the recent Sorcerer UA subclasses suggests the devs are well aware of that... I just hope they're willing to actually go the extra mile and do something about it.
I was thinking the same thing, gonna remove Inflict Wounds for the same reason. I'm also thinking of removing Arms of Hadar as well cause it's a 10 foot radius around yourself.
Idk as sorcerer have access to distant metamagic don't think inflict wounds needs to be expected to be done in combat, maybe creature has immunity/ resistance to your other spells types so for lvl 1 its decent spell that up cast well still, & then ya pretty themed idk & better dmg then many. Do understand the argument for others BT ya idk seems like this could stay.
Touch attacks like vampiric touch are exactly why the distant spell metamagic exists. It gives that attack a range of 30ft for only 1sorcery point.
You can not actually use distant spell with Vampiric touch, despite the name.
That spell has a range of SELF, not touch. Therefore, it's not usable with distant spell, which only applies to spells where the range is listed at "touch."
I was devastated when I found this out, but dem's da rules.

I was wondering if the Shadow Magic Sorcerer got spells like the Clockwork Soul, what would they get? What do you guys think?

When the DM smiles, it is already to late.
So, removing the spells that are already on the Sorcerer spell list, here's what we have
1st level: Arms of Hadar, Cause Fear, Inflict Wounds
2nd level: Ray of Enfeeblement,
3rd level: Bestow Curse, Hunger of Hadar, Vampiric Touch
4th level: Evard's Black Tentacles, Shadow of Moil,
5th level: Contagion, Negative Energy Flood

Insert interesting signature here.
