What im curious about is how do people flavor and justify the use of obviously non-psionic spells with the "psionic" subclass? or does anyone even care or try to flavor or justify it? Or do you guys flavor/hb aberrant mind and its spells and such as more "arcane" than psionic?

My Aberrant Mind/Rune Knight multi isn't fully human and is part... something from the Far Realms, so all the magic has a Lovecraftian/body horror tinge to it. I've mostly limited the spell selections to fire or brain stuff though. His Green Flame Blade is actually a Pinkish-Purple Flame Blade (a la the Nic Cage Color Out of Space), his Giant's Might transformation have started to go a bit wrong, that sort of thing

Active characters:
Edoumiaond Willegume "Eddie" Podslee, Vegetanian scholar (College of Spirits bard) Lan Kidogo, mapach archaeologist and treasure hunter (Knowledge cleric) Peter "the Pied Piper" Hausler, human con artist/remover of vermin (Circle of the Shepherd druid) PIPA - Planar Interception/Protection Aeormaton, warforged bodyguard and ex-wizard hunter (Warrior of the Elements monk/Cartographer artificer) Xhekhetiel, halfling survivor of a Betrayer Gods cult (Runechild sorcerer/fighter)
Flavor is always free. You could just put a new skin on the non-psionic abilities that give them the feel of using the same energy, but keep the stats the same.
