Hi. I have now risen to level 4 and I don't know what to choose for my new ability score improvement. Any suggestion? What's better? Feat or Ability Score Improvement? I if choose Ability Score Improvement I'm thinking to choose Charisma and Intelligence (my current Charisma is 15). But I'm very tempted to choose Feat. On the Feats, I don't know if is better to choose Lucky, Magic Initiate or Spell Sniper. What do you think? About the Magic Initiate: I can choose Magic Initiate (Warlock) or I can only choose Magic Initiate (Sorcerer)?
That's a complicated question and it depends on what you're doing / trying to do with your Sorcerer. Plus it depends on exactly what your ability scores are.
If you have an odd score in Charisma and one other ability, I'd take the ASI and increase both of them by 1 which will have the effect of giving you +1 bonuses to skills based on two ability scores plus a +1 bonus to your spell attack rolls and saving throw DC's. If you have an odd score in Charisma and even scores in all of your other abilities, you can take a feat that bumps an ability score up by 1 and gives other benefits too and then later take an ASI to bump both the score that you bumped up with that feat up by one and your Charisma up by one, or if it's a feat that bumps your Charisma up by 1 you can do anything you want later.
All of the feats are great. What do you want your sorcerer to specialize in and be super good at? And what will fit in with the campaign that you're playing in and with the rest of your party the best? I've found that tailoring my characters to the campaign as it evolves works out much better than taking the "best" option that everyone always suggests taking because the synergies between characters has better results than being a single super character does.
You can choose any class for the Magic Initiate feat, I've taken it with 2 different characters and taken classes that didn't have the same primary ability score as my class and I took spells that didn't require attack rolls or saving throws so it didn't matter.
For me it depends on what types of spells you're casting. If you're just blasting, I say take the CHA bump. If you're using a lot of concentration spells, I'd take War Caster.

If you go Magic Initiate, you are not bound to Sorcerer.
There's also Resiliency (CHA) which would give a +1 to CHA, effectively increasing the spellcasting power, as will as granting proficiency with all CHA skills.
If an odd score in CHA and others like Dex and Con are even, find a feat that boosts CHA and gives some other nifty ability. If CHA and CON or DEX are odd, use ASI and boost CHA plus another. If CHA is low...use the ASI to boost it 2 point. If CHA is 18 or more, take War Caster unless you don't really do Concentration spells. I rolled amazing for my Shadow Sorc so she was level 1 with a 20 CHA due to Racial boost of +2, I took War Caster, no question at level 4.
With only 15 CHA I would probably go with CHA increase. Your Charisma modifier applies to almost everything you do. Your spell save DC is 8 + proficiency bonus + Charisma modifier. Your spellAttack is your Charisma modifier + proficiency bonus. These two are most important for you as a caster.
The Warlock Warlock/Charisma #1 Cantrip: Eldritch Blast #2 Cantrip: Minor Illusion 1st-Level Spell: Hex
The Wizard Wizard/Intelligence #1 Cantrip: Ray of Frost or Booming Blade (if you want to melee) #2 Cantrip: Prestidigitation or Greenflame Blade 1st-Level Spell: Find Familiar or Shield
or any other wizard cantrip you do not have as sorcerer
The Cleric Cleric/Wisdom #1 Cantrip: Spare the Dying #2 Cantrip: Guidance 1st-Level Spell: Shield of Faith or Bless
You can get great mileage for Message or Prestidigitation Cantrip if you do not have it.
Another great option is the Ritual Caster feat that gives you up to 18 ritual spells (wizard spell list). You have to have minimal Intelligence of 13 though. I picked Ritual Caster at level 8 and I now ride a translucent horse ( Phantom Steed) and I sleep in an unbreakable dome (Leomund's Tiny Hut) and my invisible servant (Unseen Servant) serves me wine. It is a blast. Also, you can get familiar this way.
Nevertheless, from a mechanical standpoint and raw strength, it is best to get your Charisma to 20 as soon as possible.
Yup. If your charisma as a sorcerer is only 15, dump both points into CHA and don't look back. I'd do the same at level 8 and then look at spell sniper or war caster at 12. (The ability to cast a spell as an attack of opportunity rather than just a melee attack is a big help for a blasty sorcerer, beyond just the advantage to concentration.)

Like Tim says, it is pretty subjective.
Dont forget to include war caster on your list of feat options though.

For Magic Initiate you can pick from bard, cleric, druid, sorcerer, warlock, or wizard spell lists. Best of which are probably these:
The Warlock
Warlock/Charisma
#1 Cantrip: Eldritch Blast
#2 Cantrip: Minor Illusion
1st-Level Spell: Hex
The Wizard
Wizard/Intelligence
#1 Cantrip: Ray of Frost or Booming Blade (if you want to melee)
#2 Cantrip: Prestidigitation or Greenflame Blade
1st-Level Spell: Find Familiar or Shield
or any other wizard cantrip you do not have as sorcerer
The Cleric
Cleric/Wisdom
#1 Cantrip: Spare the Dying
#2 Cantrip: Guidance
1st-Level Spell: Shield of Faith or Bless
You can get great mileage for Message or Prestidigitation Cantrip if you do not have it.
