Hey so does anyone know how satyrs fit into the Forgotten realms, specifically near Parnast? Please don't send me a wall of text please, though, I just want a short summary!
I’m not too familiar with the Forgotten Realms, (there’s a lot, and I can’t keep it all in my head), so I’m not exactly sure where Parnast is. But I do think you could have saytrs be sort of fey-like entities. Or, if you want to play a satyr, maybe have them be a result of some sort of fey magical power thing. I just think that satyrs can be easily tied to the Feywild.
Satyr typically reside in forests having parties and hitting on dryads. The Forgotten Forest is home to many fey creatures (Source: Storm Kings Thunder), so Satyr's would definitely be present there. The Forgotten Forest lies about 50 miles south of Parnast, but Parnast is the closest human settlement.
