Spoilers for DMs only: I'm in a pickle. My players are in ythrin as vellynn wanted to be here but PC/players feel like they have held their end of the bargain and wish to go back to Grimskul to deal with Auril who they avoided on their trip to the island... they don't take detours they don't seek treasure for treasures sake.. they have 23 hours before Auril shows up in ythryn and deactivates the force field around the mythilar.. I was thinking that no matter what Vellynn isn't going to leave so the PC would have to part ways with her. Also.. I was thinking of having Auril activate the mythilar to continue her freeze of ten towns. Since it can manipulate the weather. Throwing all of the frozen north into a endless blizzard.... not trying to railroad them just something that I think would and should happen. They could go back to grimskul but have to deal with the abominable yeti they completely missed because they didn't do anything interesting. Lol. Does this sound reasonable. They seem to be ready for an ending but are too afraid to explore anything that is off quest list for "WIN".. they just want to kill the Rok so she can't cast her spell or leave her island but I think they are past her living on her island since they have disturbed the necropolis.. thus the mythilar...
