Soo I've been looking thru some dnd lore and some gods I came across Eilistraee! She is awesome! I plan to make a changeling that looks like a drow at some point...that follows her!
Yeah, l don't normally make my characters religious, but l have at least 2-3 that worship her. Which is like, half of my religious characters. She's great!
There is a sub-class of wizard called Bladesinging that's intended for followers of her, though I'm not sure why it's a sub-class of wizard instead of cleric or paladin.
I've just started a campaign where I'm playing as a drow paladin who follows Eilistraee. My concept is that she was raised by wood elves, something that came with its own set of challenges but ended up making her a decent person who completely broke from the usual image of drow being evil. And when she finally found other drow, it turned out to be a Lolth-worshipping cult that declared her a traitor for refusing to accept the notion of Drow superiority. When she finally escaped, she went through a period of despair when she was afraid to interact with anyone because she thought she would instinctively inflict the same level of cruelty that she had seen from the cult. That was when she was visited by Eeilistraee who helped her realize she was not like the cult and could make a difference, inspiring her to become a paladin.
Of course, at this point she's only lvl. 2, and I still see her being very new to the life of a paladin. She has a general idea of what she ultimately wants to do but doesn't necessarily know how to achieve it. And while Eilistraee may have inspired her current path she has lots of questions about her patron goddess and is taking any opportunity to learn more.

Or, even more fittingly (IMO), Collage of Swords Bards.
other class' that fit her worshipers: Blade wizard as mentioned, The oath of Ancients paladin's oath is Basically a condensed version of Her teachings, though if you don't want the nature aspect, Devotion or redemption work well, Cleric's could likely be anything, but peace stands out to me, Swashbuckler rogues, (especially with the Steady aim being able to off-set a drows SS Attack Disadvantage), and Hexblade Warlock (devils sight+ darkness spell) .
In Short, a entire party could worship her, and not overlap class'

If you don't mind me trying to help you out, I can suggest something to you based on the novel I wrote for my character's backstory:
The drow had a habit of frequent raids to the surface to kill or enslave elves of all kinds, but particularly drow who had decided on a surface life away from the influence of Lolth. The surface tribes almost always worshipped Eilistraee as their protector. Your character's mother was captured on one of these raids and rather than kill her, the male fighter became smitten and asked that he be allowed to marry this wayward drow. Although unusual, the drow family allowed it thinking that he could turn her into a proper Lolth worshipper and bear more females for the family. She found no escape and indeed did bear the male drow a female child, but she never gave up her love of Eilistraee and continued to secretly worship her and in time, she taught her daughter as well thinking to save this child from the evil of Lolth. When her child was only five, her daughter accidently mentioned the secret shrine to Eilistraee to someone and the authorities went to deal with her in a most unpleasant way. The husband knew they were doomed and fought off the authorities while she fled but she was unable to save her daughter who was seized and she presumed the husband was killed in her defense. She fled to the surface, but came out in an unknown location after weeks of wandering. She set up a little cottage in the woods and tried to survive. She could not venture into either elven or human towns for they would shoot any drow on site, thinking all of them were the most evil of humanoids. Then one day in her wandering she heard a skirmish and went to investigate. In the woods she found several goblins both dead and alive crowding around two strange humanoid figures with a little bundle between them. The bundle was crying and she raced forward to save it from the goblins who fled from the drow for they knew the reputation of these people. She carefully unwrapped the bundle and stared at large eyes within a blank, featureless face. Before her eyes, the child's features changed and the skin turned black and she was staring at a drow child. This brought back heartbreaking memories of the child she had abandoned in the Underdark and she decided to raise the child as her own - and to worship Eilistraee.
Just worked that up on the fly, use what you want.

And as someone who also adores her, here are two links for the uninitiated to learn about her greatness: Here's a 30 minute video on why she's the best goddess, here's a fandom wiki about her, and this is for her worshipers.

I love playing a Cleric of Eilistraee, certainly the most interesting of goddesses. Here is a free document from DM Guild for running a Cleric of Eilistraee or paladin. I think this is the best set of rules for the flavor of this goddess from the lore.
