With the new lore drop regarding Goblinoids. (Mordenkainen Presents: Monsters of the Multiverse not on dndbeyond till May). I was wondering what we will be told about Worgs.
It's a pretty deep effort to reconcile prior goblinoid lore to the MMM change, and on a quick reread it looks like worgs may have been overlooked. My guess is you could have Worg being native to the Feywild, I can see that, you could even have aspects of the goblinoids living in sort of "Wild Hunt" type packs with them. Another option would be the relationship between prime material goblinoids and worgs stems from Maglubiyet, I could also see that.
Personally I think I'm keeping the MMM lore "just another story" about where goblinoids come from, with lots of disagreement among goblinoids themselves.
