I'd like to get an advice for my character's plans.
Story so far:
Hes currently a 18th level Wizard (Conjurer) from Waterdeep. A short while ago he attuned to an Artifact called "Bracers of Amilek", which he took from an Ancient Green Dragon. These bracers had the power of casting Prismatic Sprays and were created by Task, the evil dragon god. It turned out to be a bad idea to attune to them because my wizard was chained by prismatic light in the process and his mind was send to Dragon Eyrie, where he encountered numerous chromatic dragons but with the help of Fizban he finally made it to a cave, where something was enclosed in a crystal and chained by light.
He broke the magic of these chains and realized that crystal contained the heart of a prismatic dragon. Instead of beeing greedy my character decided to free the dragon, and with a flash of light a gargantuam prismatic dragon appeared before him. The dragon explained that he lost a fight to Task millenias ago and was bound here. He cannot help us in the fight against Tiamat and it is now time for him to go. Another flash of light and my character was back to Waterdeep, with the bracers falling to the ground.
He had an inspiration and whrote magical formulas on the walls of his chamber, which would lead to the discovery of Prismatic Wall spell but unfortunately his companions came and disturbed him in the process, thinking that he was not himself. In an outrage a prismatic spray came out of his shimmering right eye, destroying half the wall and the party's druid turned my character to stone.
Present:
A few weeks later, coming back from Avernus, a plan is forming in his mind. He has seen one of the mightest dragons that he was aware of. Although he was unable to help on the material plane he gifted him with the power of light and inspired him to use light in new ways. So would it be possible to bring another of his kind to the material plane to help against Tiamat? This is the question that fills his mind and he made this plan:
1. Hire the stone workers of Waterdeep to form a huge egg of white marble.
2. Kneel before the egg, close the eyes and speak a prayer to Bahamut:
"Bahamut, please listen. The cult of the dragon is about to summon Tiamat to our world. If they suceeed, many cities will be doomed and many people would die. Me and my companions are fighting the cult of the dragon to prevent this from happening. I traveled to Dragon Eyrie and rescued the soul of your fateful servant "Hordel", the prismatic dragon, from the claws of Task. Even if he cant help us against Tiamat, maybe some of his kind can be born to assist us.
3. He then touches the egg, forces all magical energy he possesses into a sentence, casting the spell Wish.
"Bahamut, I ask that a new prismatic dragon shall be born of this egg."
A prismatic dragon wyrmling is huge. But the size decribes the space the creature takes when fighting. So with half-spanned wings. In the egg the creature is balled together so maybe a large egg would be enough?
Its propably hard to get a 15 ft (heigh) x10 ft (diameter) big marble stone at Waterdeep. But as there are colossal statues in waterdeep, there might be some stone workers with a some workpieces laying around. With a bit luck also a big brick? As a representant of the council and a hero of Waterdeep, my character should be able to find a way to get such a big piece of white marble somewhere.
However it could take weeks to move the marble to Waterdeep. My character can teleport 10 ft x 10 ft stone to waterdeep, but then they are no longer "one piece".
Cost: 3 gp per pound (lbs). 15 ft x 10 ft x 10 ft x 160 = 240.000 lbs (formula from web) = 720.000 gp. thats quite alot!
I thought about learning True Polymorph to create the egg, but Id rather avoid it, since it doesnt fit the thematic of a "conjurer".
What are you thinking about it? Any better way to do it beside True Polymorph?
Is this advice for a campaign you're playing in with other players, or a story you're writing?
And pardon me for not being up to date on current lore, but is some of this from the Fizban's Dragon book that just came out? Or is it homebrewed material? People will be able to help much less if it's homebrewed.

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?
Ye will talk to him. But 15 ft x 10 ft x 10 ft block of marble in one piece is quite big and surely hard to get.
Maybe I can find an alternate way to get the prismatic dragon born.
A hollow bronze egg with many small holes: with an glyp of warding (prismatic spray) inside. The prismatic energy will be released when wish is spoken.
Prismatic wall scribed on a scroll. First it is spoken from the scroll and then Wish is used to form a dragon egg from it. Thought scribing the scroll will take like 48 weeks.
Search a temple of Bahamut and wish there. But could end in an egg only. Not a born dragon.
Hi there,

Guess I whrote it too complicated.
We are playing Rise of Tiamat adventure and that part with the gauntlets was homebrewed by our DM.
I am thinking about to spin it further into bringing a prismatic dragon to the fight against Tiamat.
I just have some concerns about how to do it. How to get enough marble as it semes to be expensive.
Have you actually consulted with your GM about this?
Also, at 18th level a PC should not be hard up for money.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
