It briefly mentions in the DMG about the Vaati: a race that lives in the Plane of Air with the aarakocra. Is there any thoughts on what they look like? A remnant race living in the plane of air from the chaos wars. They are elementals, live in a city in the plane of air, use the aarokka to protect against elemental evil, one of many claim to be air dukes, broke the rod of seven parts, deeply respected by other cultures in the known planes, thought to have all perished, a few air gensai are decended from, and they look human ( sources say any where from 4 foot to towering giants). There used to be several layers to the elemental rulers, they removed it to prevent confusion for 5e.
