Perhaps not what you were thinking, but the Bardbarian in one of my games destroyed a wicker humanoid in a fight. They then recovered a wicker hand, which they spent time grafting to their guitar, and rolled a nat20 for arcana, which meant they had made a new magic item - the guitr that could strum itself. They then rolled a second nat20 for performance when they tried it out, so I allowed everyone to gain inspiration from their amazing guitar skills.
