i recently got my hands on a copy waterdeep dragon heist and i find it rather confusing that the way the characters are presented in the book makes the vast majority of the good characters seem evil and a couple of the evil characters seem almost good

if i say something inflammatory the intention is not to trigger an emotional response and the fact that it does so is purely accidental and I sincerely apologise if it does
There's a Chase Scene later on that is frustrating as a player, If you going to Run it I suggest skipping it all together.
And the Pick a Villain "feature" requires a lot of page flipping and a lot of Prep work on the Dm's part. The Multi-Seasons part feels the same as above.
On the Other hand The Manor House we fixed up was a smash Hit at the table. All the Festivals and other City snapshot bit did help the city feel more alive.
When I played DH we used the Cassalanters (devil worshipers) as the main villains and Jarlaxle as an NPC patron for the party. Xanathar and Manshoon were there too but mostly in the background.

I really like D&D, especially Ravenloft, Exandria and the Upside Down from Stranger Things. My pronouns are she/they (genderfae).
