As a group of five level fours, seeing a dragon was a bit overwhelming. The party consisted of the following:
(Me) Orminious Bavoriolous-Ranger
Belfire Bavoriolous-Wizard
Hornom Fireforge-Barbarian
Sarlon Riggs-Rogue
Sir Gumoth Maximus-Druid
We were in Wave Echo Cave, and YAY, we see a Flameskull. I use my sharpshooter, which gives me -5 on my attack bonus, but +10 on my damage, Its INSANE. I hit him with a 17 overall. I roll for damage, 8+13. 21 damage. Hornom then uses his +1 greatsword to hit for 11 damage. All the rest of the party are dealing with the 8 zombies crowding around us. Its my turn and I decide not to use sharpshooter. I roll a Crit. :(. I roll 2d10+3 damage. I roll, 10 and ooohh, another 10 + 3. 23 damage. Dead. After I kill it i say, "Flameskull? More like LAMEskull." I got inspiration.
Then we encountered a spectator. For those who dont know, a spectator is basically a weak beholder. Its my turn first and I use sharpshooter. I roll a 16+2. Hit. I roll for damage. 3+13. 16 damage. Its the druids turn and he uses his crossbow. Hits, 2 damage. GO DRUID!!! Hornom then tries to attack. Natural 1. Miss. Spectator uses ray of confusion. Hits. Sarlon uses his rapier and kills the spectator. Hornom is confused and attacks me. Hits for 12 damage.
We then encountered a Wraith. Too easy I wont even explain it.
We also encountered an Owlbear. I used sharpshooter. Natural 1. Woops. Hornom uses talon. 14 damage. Druid uses crossbow. 10 overall. Owlbear misses all attacks. Sarlon uses rapier, 3 damage. I use sharpshooter, 23 damage. Dead. We then went to the ruins of Thundertree.
As we are walking in the Ruins of Thundertree we investigate a building. I roll my perception check and I get a 21 over all. The DM then says, "You feel an uneasy wind on your back. It does not feel natural and you feel scared while in it." I then insist we get out of the building, but the dragon had other plans. He snuck behind the building and when we went outside. BOOM. A dragon in our face. Sarlon Riggs then says, (like spiderman) "Hey, have you seen that movie, Empire strikes back." We had all seen it. So we grappled the dragons legs so it couldn't fly away, then we put cloud of daggers above its head. It did 11 damage. Dragons health-127. The dragon then uses poisin breath. Knocks out Sarlon and Sir Gumoth. I use my action to use sharpshooter with my crossbow. Natural 20. I roll for damage and in total I rolled a 9 and a 8, but since i used sharpshooter I got an extra 10 to my damage, but I also already had a 3 damage bonus. I caluclate and, 30 damage. Dragon health-93 HP. After chipping it down to 23 health it flies to the top of a tower and I use my sharpshooter and I hit. I roll a 10. 10+10+3. 23 damage. It crashes down and I say "That was fun." (My signature catchphrase.) That is how we defeated the Dragon.

That's some lucky rolling...
