According to the Calendar of Harptos, there are distinct holidays throughout the year, along with Shieldmeet. Has anyone ever attempted to celebrate these holidays in their campaigns? How did your party do it? Is there specific lore about each holiday besides the info from the Forgotten Realms Wiki?
Not yet but I plan to in two of my ongoing campaigns both set in the Forgotten Realms in different parts, their experiences will be different as one is heading to Waterdeep and the other (a Pirate campaign) will be down south (maybe). I am doing strict timekeeping in the campaign so I know what day it is, travel etc in order to add a sense of realism. The Forgotten Realms have wikis that have some good information on the major holidays and some of teh FR campaign/adventure books have content as well like Waterdeep:Dragon Heist that i plan on incorporating
