So I want to use D&D mechanics in a fantasy story I'm thinking of writing but I'm not really sure about how to make a character on D&D Beyond to fit my character idea. My idea is for the MC to be a young human male (between 10-15). The MC has been cursed by an evil god to live forever as a slave. He can't die, healing magic/positions hurt him, can't disobey his master, can't wear armor, and other things (suggestions welcomed). The story will start the MC being found by a group of adventurers find him after the slave wagon he was in got attacked by a group of bandits. Ideas on how to keep it interesting and make it work with D&D, please.
So what mechanics are you looking to incorporate? Based on your description of the MC he sounds like he could fit the Warlock class pretty well, you'd just have to explore the various pacts and patrons to decide which one might fit your description yet. Or a Cleric or a Paladin who has been cursed by perhaps a rival of their deity, although they have healing abilities that would go against your description of him being harmed by healing. Not sure what mechanics you are looking to use but if you create this MC as well as the adventurers as player characters you can utilize their stats to shape their attitudes and skills

I was thinking more like Monk with him being a slave. Knowing how to use magic doesn't fit in my mind, would likely be part of the cures.
what if the wagons themselves were evil and they turn into decepticons lol
