This is a thread dedicated to the various DND characters who I've played (or hope to play) in campaigns!
(I wasn't sure if this belonged more in arts and crafts or here, so sorry in advance if this is in the wrong spot!)
I don't want to go into too much detail for every character since there's quite a few in the post, but if you want to know more feel free to ask!
All artwork is by me unless otherwise specified!
My very first DND character was a Fire Genasi Sorcerer named Alek Desona. (He's on the left! His boyfriend Milo is on the right.)
I gave him a pretty dark backstory, which our DM gleefully took and ran with.
In his backstory, he grew up in an isolated Fire Genasi community which was visited monthly by a family of traveling merchants. This is how he met Milo, and the two eventually became very close friends. (and boyfriends!) However, Milo was drafted into war. Alek immediately decided to follow him to ensure his safety. One day, in an especially intense fight, Milo sacrificed himself to save Alek from an incoming attack. Alek, immediately overcome with grief, lost control of his abilities and razed an entire battlefield of enemies and allies alike.
The campaign he was in was extremely chaotic (we caused the apocalypse on the very first session because our drunk cleric killed a cultist). But everyone got their happy ending! (After we also sort of caused the apocalypse in a SECOND world, however.)
His scarf was a gift from his little sister, Luce, when he went off to war!
Alek is almost perpetually grumpy to some extent, with Milo being the exact opposite.
Not technically my second character, but the next character I'm willing to show recent art of is my Aasimar Cleric, Maxima! (Max for short)
I gave him a backstory that would lend itself to a somewhat pompous, egotistical, arrogant sort of character but was unable to roleplay anything meaner than a clueless character who sometimes says mean things out of oblivousness, and is a bit of a narcissist. Thus, Max was born.
His campaign was about six months long! We didn't cause the apocalypse twice in it, but it was fun nonetheless!
Rhath was a character I played in a one-shot to test out the setting developed for a tabletop class at our college.
He is PEAK idiot. (He's a Fire Genasi Barbarian)
I developed a bit of a story for him, which I adapted for the sake of the one-shot.
However, since it was a one-shot we were pulled into about forty eight ours before it happened, no one's backstory really came up too much.
He's super chaotic and headstrong, and doesn't really think before acting.
Here's a redraw I did of him and another character in his story, Ven:
Lux is a Scourge Aasimar Death Domain Cleric I'm currently playing in an ongoing campaign. Her deity is the Raven Queen!
Her backstory is that her family is a line of very serious demon hunters. She was cursed as a teenager by a demon named Almaran, who wanted revenge on her bloodline, and found she was the easiest target. So, she fled and was discovered by the Raven Queen, who took her in as a cleric. She wears her mask to hide the symptoms of the curse (a small demonic horn, and patches of red scales around her eye).
Callyse is a Dwarf Fighter I'm currently playing in a Pathfinder campaign! It's my first time playing Pathfinder, and I'm enjoying it a lot!
Her backstory is still a WIP for now, but I'm working on it....slowly
Florus is a new character I recently designed while destressing from midterms week. He doesn't have a campaign yet, but I'd love to play him someday!
I'm also still working on his backstory, but I'm thinking he's going to be a Wizard born to nobility, but never quite fitting in among his family.
