If yugoloths accept payment in a large quantity of treasure, how do they transport that to their home plane?
Let’s say a group of hydroloths was hired by a tribe of sahuagin to aid in attacking a sea elf enclave.
The sahuagin demanded all the spoils of the fight.
What do they do with the money right then and there? How do they claim it? If they die, they would lose all their money, so they would need a way to bring it with them to Gehenna.
We can assume from subtext that Plane Shift lets you take X amounts of small items along with you. If you don't want to go that route, the yuggoloths can carry it all personally, or stuff it in a Bag of Holding
I ended up homebrewing a special chest that contains an extradimensional space that, when closed, activates a plane shift on the chest and any willing creature in contact with it.
