I want to make a campaign where the Tarrasque brings the world together under a kind beholder, a gold and a red dragon couple, and lich with the goal of killing it (I'm give its regenerative powers back). The Tarrasque won't be going down easy it now has a 20 intelligence score and a rather large army. So what do you guys think and more importantly can beholders dream kill the Tarrasque like wish could ie. Max hp equal 0 then wish. Bye for now!
A beholder has to abide by it's CR I say, and something of 17th level can only cast wish (aside from magic items). While they can do some crazy things, like make creatures from nothing but dreams, or even bring themselves back as a zombie, a magic caster could potentially do those things without 9th level spells. Also the monsters they make are weaker than themselves.
My biggest question is where do the player characters fit in without being overshadowed by all these super-powerful beings? Sounds like a crazy setting, could be cool!
Hi BobobSyxtieNein yes a beholder can't cast wish but, I have been told that a beholders dream can wrap reality like wish and even if I'm wrong the beholder could have easily found a magic item that would allow it to cast wish.
Hi NaivaraArnuann I know that would be a problem however it is my understanding that the party won't fit in they have to prove themselves and someone has to fight the army and a war is more then to armies fighting spying, sabotage, and also the Tarrasque earth swimming power need to stop. Finally we need to find someone to finish the remaining army. The beholder, lich, and dragon couple need to manage everything and the soldiers are tired or dead so it is up to the party to do so before the army get the tools to bring the Tarrasque back.

Also known as CrafterB and DankMemer.
Here, have some homebrew classes! Subclasses to? Why not races. Feats, feats as well. I have a lot of magic items. Lastly I got monsters, fun, fun times.
