Want some feedback on something I've been asked about by my DM regarding my character in his campaign.
Vall is currently staying at an Inn whilst in Bottlequay and he wanted me to describe the owners and so on.
So my character established a shrine to her deity at the forest edge. This allows her access to her Feywild Temple, however the city she's currently located at has developed beyond the city boundaries forcing the construction of Forts near the expanding settlement outside of the city itself.
Vall is currently staying at the Hissing Brazier Inn so named because its original owners are the Brazier family the current Innkeeper and his wife are Sigur and Valena Fiddle.
Valena's family own the Inn her parents are still around, Declan and Tilda Brazier are both in their late forties and whilst still helping around the inn ownership has been passed to their daughter and her husband.
The name is due to them running side jobs on the side Valena runs the Laundry service within the Fort, whilst her husband is the Wheelwright.
Both are reservist guards as are Valena's parents there is another son in the family but he disappeared during a mission to Treefoil but his body hasn't been recovered (depends on the DM for that!).
Sigur and Valena have 3 kids the oldest Alyss is 10 wants to become a wizard although her idea of a wizard is somewhat problematic, Sigur or Junior is 6 years old and is already following in his father's footsteps as a wheelwright if taking apart his toy wagons to rebuild them is any clue!
The youngest is Declan whose only 1 year old, but already a handful!
Vall often sells the goods she makes or forages for here, and it often turns up on the menu.
Vall tends to get shanghaied into looking after their kids, but is mostly left alone by the locals due to her odd background.
Notes: Declan and Tilda's youngest son Benji was one of the guards sent to Treefoil. He was the one who directed Vall towards Bottlequay, when she first emerged in this world. Due to suffering from temporary amnesia the result of being banished to this world she mistook Benji's roughly carved symbol of Ioun for her own son's effort and only shrugged off the effects of the amnesia following defeating the fiend preying on Treefoil with the aid of the others.
They haven't revealed this to Vall and even the Fort soldier's and Fort Commander have said nothing about this as the family is still coming to grips with the loss and have been taking care of Vall as she is clearly in some distress herself.
How does that sound to you?
Its probably going to be modified before it reaches game play, but I wanted a second opinion in case I've overlooked something?
