Alright, so I have a character that on one world, was cast out of his clan because his white scales made it impossible for him to hunt anything (white on anything not snow = visible and prey runs).
That said, one of my friends claims that albino lizardfolk are supposed to be sacred to them because of a connection to their split god, which I have never heard of. Not including the Mr. Rhexx video (since he doesn't offer any citations), can someone provide me anything in writing (previous edition or no), that indicates this peculiar facet of lizardfolk culture that I've never heard of?

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"
I looked it up online and the only thing related to albinism are the chultian dwarves from Chult. You're friend might have confused them for each other?

Born under the watch of something from the furthest corners of the far realms.... It knows all.... it sees all... and it asks: "What is it that you want to see?"... and my answer is... ALL"
I have a guess, but this is the closest I can find: Semuanya
"The herald of Semuanya is an 18th level albino lizardfolk druid named Spirit Scale" (emphasis mine)
Semuanya's story/history/incarnations in DnD is...all over the place. But in that same link source is Dragon Magazine #335, and the "Ecology of the Lizardfolk" and the duality of Semuanya and Kecuala is covered there. So take that and the Herald, and I could see the argument of albinism being seen as a sign of blessing, but after reading that article, albinos aren't mentioned beyond Spirit Scale. But what IS mentioned is this:
"The exception to this philosophy comes in the form of the occasional sterile, hermaphroditic lizardfolk hatch with superior intelligence. Often taking up the mantle of shaman, lizardfolk of this uncommon breed advise the tribe but rarely rise to positions of true power. Lizardfolk revere such shamans as touched by the divinity of Semyanya -- paragons closer to returning the broken halves of Kecuala to a unified state."
So as for albinos, my personal take is that if an albino lizardfolk, survived on its own and became successful, then it could be seen as strength to survive despite the handicap and it would be honored for that reason. Semuanya doesn't bother to send signs or blessing otherwise. Spirit Scale is such an individual.
