I woke up in a cold sweat wondering what on earth it would look like if my Centaur character were bitten by a werewolf, or any lycanthrope for that matter, in full, hybrid, and humanoid form. I've made some doodles (which are not great, but ideas yet) and all of them seem equally strange and terrifying. Any thoughts?
I would think, that it's animal form would still of course be the same the hybrid form would be an over sized version of the base animal with still the torso of a humanoid just even more hair.
I wouldn't assume it's only player races. It wouldn't affect a Warforged as a construct, but consider that it could affect an Aarakocra, a Troglodyte, a Bugbear, a Svirfneblin, a Drow (non Dryder), a Bullywug, a Changeling (yes, them, too), a Duergar... Essentially anything listed in Monsters catalog as type: Humanoid.

Human. Male. Possibly. Don't be a divider. My characters' backgrounds are written like instruction manuals rather than stories. My opinion and preferences don't mean you're wrong. I am 99.7603% convinced that the digital dice are messing with me. I roll high when nobody's looking and low when anyone else can see.🎲 “It's a bit early to be thinking about an epitaph. No?” will be my epitaph.

Oh good point! I hadn't even thought about the fact they are considered monstrosity

A human Were-wolf has a humanoid build. A centaur were-wolf would presumably have the top of a wolf with human-ish arms and the bottom of a wolf-centaur amalgamation. I think. Don't quote me on this. Honestly, someone should just ask Crawford.

as said before centaurs are immune
There has been nothing official said on the matter, that I know of, and none in this thread. They'd probably be immune but who knows?
You are right. To quote the Monster Manual: "A humanoid creature can be afflicted with the curse of lycanthropy after being wounded by a lycanthrope, or if one or both of its parents are lycanthropes. A remove curse spell can rid an afflicted lycanthrope of the curse, but a natural born lycanthrope can be freed of the curse only with a wish."
Still doesn't clear up the debacle about Aarakocra and Lycanthropy. Most of my characters are Aarakocra so I should probably come up with something at some point.

probably winged feathered and maybe beaked lycanthropes

I too, am relieved.
Sorry, but there’s a playable centaur race now.
A centaur werehorse. Basically, it has the lower body of a horse. The upper body is a horse in a different direction. The hands become horse legs. It’s a six-legged horse that’s slightly humanoid. Slightly. More nightmare fuel!

All hail the great and mighty platypus.
Resisting is simply standing in front of the tide and pushing at it. Even if you endure at first, you will eventually break down. Adapting, by contrast, is turning into a fish.

My thoughts: I wish I didn't have thoughts. Make it go away. Please.
Congratulations, sir, you've created my new sleep paralysis demon.

I would think that Lycanthrope would be a disease that affects fully Humanoid.
A Centaur is classified as a Monstrosity.

Doesn't solve the question of a creature with a beak and wings becoming a werebeast.
Does a werebear Aarakocra (a player race BTW as well as a Humanoid "monster") become an Owlbear upon transformation?🤔
What about a weretiger Aarakocra? Does that mean a Griffon?

The real question is: what happens when a Shifter becomes Lycanthroped? Are they extra Beast?
A werewolf and a centaur walk into a bar and tell the bartender, "Give me a bloody mary with a splash of rye."
