I'm curious about the lore behind the Gith Sha'sal Khou unification of Githkind effort. Specifically, I presume some of the Githyanki within the Sha'sal Khou are of the caliber that would be assigned as Red Dragon riders. My question: do the Red Dragons know about Sha'sal Khou, and what do they know of it? Or are there talented Githyanki knights finding other avenues for their careers besides the Red Dragon corps.
I'm hoping to walk out of this thread with a bibliography of Gith lore going as deep cut as posters can (if I can pull it off DMsGuild or an archive of Dragon great, out of print novels are ok too). Speculation beyond such lore as to how the Red Dragons and presumably Tiamat may use this intrigue as leverage within their bonds to the Githyanki would be welcome too, especially for anyone who's run a Gith focused campaign beyond Rrakma, which was a pretty neat adventure.
