For those who don't know, DDOstream is the official Twitch channel of the online MMO Dungeons & Dragons Online, and not surprisingly, we're all a bunch of tabletop folks as well. What started as a one-off has turned into a new weekly show where we have a rotating set of Dungeon Masters playing a mix of homebrew, official adventures, and one-off strangeness every Sunday from 7:00pm-10:00pm Eastern. You can find us at Twitch.tv/DDOstream if you'd like to check it out.
For disclosure, I want to make sure people know I am the Community Manager for Dungeons & Dragons Online, so I do work for the channel's owner Standing Stone Games. We make DDO. "DDO Players Playing D&D" makes a lot of sense for us. :)
I will personally be doing a three-session mini-campaign on October 21st, 28th, and November 4th called The Witch and the Woods. It's a horror-themed adventure told in a unique "short campaign" style I've been working on for a couple of years, where we move things along and tell a lot of plot in a relatively short period of time.
One other neat thing for D&D Night is we are honored to be able to be sponsored by SmiteWorks, makers of Fantasy Grounds, and use Fantasy Grounds exclusively for the stream. This started as people frequently asking us what we were using to stream, since it was more than kinda awesome, and through a mix of luck and connections we've been able to do a trade-off with SmiteWorks for some licenses in exchange for promotion. If you've ever wanted to see Fantasy Grounds in action in a relatively well-produced stream setting, this might be the stream for you.
