I wanted to take a moment to invite those of you having a slow day at work (or wherever) to check out our podcast we have been running for awhile now. We have 33 51 episodes, each roughly an hour long, for you to enjoy!
Moral Entropy is an Actual Play 5e podcast, and very much an "around the table" experience. Enjoy the story as it unfolds with us, and even contribute ideas/npcs that will show up on the podcast! We love the input! Each episode is edited down to an hour while still working to maintain the feeling of being at the table enjoying jokes that come with getting together, along with keeping roleplaying a focus and enjoyable part of the podcast.
Follow 5 adventurers as they try to learn what exactly happened to the world they once knew, and where on earth they are now.
Some more information for those of you taking the time to browse through:
Originally our group began playing D&D with the Lost Mines of Phandelver. It was the first time for all of us playing D&D. We kept playing and then hooked into the Princes of the Apocalypse module. We were most the way through it and getting heavy on the homebrew when we felt it would be really fun to enjoy this story with everyone else out there who might like to listen or feel part of the group. So we made the podcast!
We started out with the podcast not knowing much about audio setups and such, and it took about 8 episodes for us to Iron things out. There are some important story points in the first 8 episodes, but if they're just too rough to listen to for you then you can start in the Brightpline Line arc (Episode 9) where the audio jumps a lot in quality.
The story features original music, and an original world. You can listen to the soundtrack here as we add music (if that's what you're interested in): Albums
We've had a blast, and would love to have you along with us, and to get your feedback! Hope you all have a great time!
Come read the Lore, look at artwork/photos, get to know the party, and follow along at http://moralpodcast.com We would love feedback and any questions you have. You can also follow us on twitter @Moral_Entropy.
Ep 36. Robbing the Cradle - Part 2 (Pardon the mic of Tallguy in this episode, he had just picked up a new mic and is still figuring out his setup, so it's a got some ambience when he speaks, we're working on how to iron that out).
Back again folks! We have the conclusion to the "Robbing the Cradle" arc for you! We hit a big milestone recently! Just over a year ago the podcast was released! We now have 40 episode worth of content for folks to enjoy (each about an hour long)! We also have a teaser image from the upcoming comic that is being worked on! Thanks for joining us, and hope you enjoy!
After things go terribly, terribly wrong at the Zoo, the party confronts the king over some questionable evidence they found.
Some quick thoughts: This current situation the party is in has been a blast. A random event in the city, determined entirely by the dice, has led to a very fun set of events for the party. Looking forward to seeing where this goes from here!
We're back with more Moral Entropy! We've switched to a two-week release schedule with the holiday season coming up since folks get plenty busy. So heeere we go!
The party dispatches the problem in the city before looking for some missing friends. Took them a bit to notice they were missing, but hey…they got there eventually.
Bit of a shorter episode this week! 30 minutes long, but plenty of fun to be had! The dice will prove to be the gods of our world over the next few episodes, as the encounters on the trail are completely determined by them! It leads to some...strange things. Enjoy!
Today we're excited to release our first ever Character episode!
Our eccentric bard Dandun is the focus of this first episode. Delve into his past as he remembers a defining moment when his tongue got him into plenty of trouble with a dangerous group of people.
After destroying the tower, the party continues their journey as they trudge across the continent. They also seem to have totally not realized that Dandun is still missing, so we’ll see how that goes.
Enjoy! Thanks to so many of you for joining us on our journey so far!
